Dean Cadillac 1980 re-issue guitar review and demo

This is my demo of the Dean Cadillac 1980 guitar, a sweet reproduction of the original model. It has a set neck, grover rotomatic tuners, pearl inlays, triple ply binding, mahogany body and neck. This is the 30 year re-issue of a great sustaining, well built import from korea. This guitar feels very comfortable and sounds great. This guitar for hendrix? I'd use something else. Tool is much more of a heavy overdriven monster pickup tone that these pickups wont do the trick.

This guitar is better suited for classic rock tones of sorts and I really love the feel of the neck, So I would say no in general. Maybe a h-s-s Strat with a hot humbucker in the bridge is what you are looking for.
