@jdoolsiu I'm Japanese-American, therefore I HATE the Celtics and Jazz. I'm Seattle-born, and a Sonics and Blazers fan. Anyway, the Lakers went 0-10 combined against Seattle and Portland!! Unheard of!! Any team that gets swept in the regular season by Seattle AND Portland, suffers what I call the "Northwest Ignominy" that season.

@jdoolsiu that team was ASS though. Worthy was done, Van Exel wasn't ready yet. Vlade was OK. Who else did they have besides a bunch of role players and castoffs? They drafted Eddie Jones and signed Ced Ceballos after that year, and Van Exel stepped up and they made a big jump. Magic didn't have much to work with when he was coach.
