Fascinating, he doesn't use alot of his hips, more arms but completely effective. I have gotten better by watching this... thanks.

@fongsauyook This one not his student...this was a classmate of mine from England (the British guy, about 185-190lbs or 13 stones) who visited China for six months...he came across this guy (Master Yuanxing) one day & they pushed hands...more like a friendly competition, if anything...With no disrespect but my classmate was never a pushing hands champion or anything, just a practitioner.

@fongsauyook, this is very normal push hands; I don't see any poor teaching or big ego from the master.

Impressive center control but poor teaching
Allow the student to perform the technique then they may have a chance of understanding it.
To much ego from the master.

This is my classmate from when I trained in England, the large British guy. He went to China for six months or so looking for people to train with, learn from and practice. He came back a bit discontent, pretty much because of how this turned out. I think the video is great, I would have loved to have been pushing hands with Master Yuanxing. You learn a lot by getting pushed around and neutralized, in terms of understanding how to use Taijiquan principles in a more applicable manner.
