Have just bought a canon eos 300d an some lenses...does PS cs3 give you a live feed.? and where do you put them in a timeline on premiere?

@johndavideanimation I don't use stopmotion software much anymore. Using photoshop cs3 these days to be honest.

wow this is clever.. i used to put my webcam on top of the slr camera but I'm totally gonna start doing this, thanks for the tip

@Andrestopmo It works a lot better with a high res camera, but the concept works fantastically if you need to line up angles AND rotoscope using limited resources. Most people have a good webcam around.

do you rate istopmotion over dragon then? once the live view issue is resolved?

@johndavideanimation Update-- I currently own both, and I've had SO many issues with Dragonframe. Honestly, iStopMotion is so much better at keeping files from going corrupt or losing files. Best option though is to simply stay away from any program at all, capture it in camera, and import it into Photoshop in my honest opinion.
