Awesome man, I thought I was the only one who recognized this game for its epic soundtrack, it really is one of a kind. I had this game when I was a kid and I remember hating the game but every so often I would go back to it asking myself "Why do I even play this game?". one day my friend came over and he wanted to buy the game for 10 bucks and at the last minute I changed my mind. I just couldn't sell the game knowing I would miss hearing that title screen music. ;)

Italy's theme is one of the best tunes on the NES. Glamorous and majestic, it fits stage perfectly and really sounds like a good tune for the emerald palace its set in.

Ha-Ha. This was actually one of my favorite NES games. It was like two-player Castlevania, even if the hawk is difficult to control.

Best music is when he dies. I also like the animation.

This is the best stuff ever music wise. India rules, that's my favorite by far. That dark sound is awesome. The music in this game is definitely the best part of it.

I'm with you on that #1 slot. That title music has never been matched in quality not even in modern games. My personal order would be this:

1: Title Screen and all variations

2: Arabia

3: India

4: Italy

5: Egypt

there are more games in which music is almost perfect as for nes' standards :)

I'm sad my absolute favorite 8 Eyes song wasn't on here (Germany Boss) but it's still a great collection of songs! Thank you so much for doing this! ♥
