I decided to come up with a way to suspend a large number of firecrackers in the air at a place of my choosing. Thus was born the CRACKER TOWER.

I built it out of 1/2" black steel (gas) pipe, as this was cheaper than galvanized. It breaks down into four pieces for easy transport. It was designed to support a single 16,000 firecracker roll, but we instead got hold of several 2,000-cracker rolls that someone at Winterblast needed to get rid of.

Shot at WPA Western Winter Blast 20 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

  • Very cool! I am planning on joining the WPA on my 18th birthday, and attending either the Do It event or the WWB. See you there!
