Wardevil -PlayStation3 exclusive-

A next gen title developed by the team known as DIGI-GUYS, WarDevil promises to go beyond the conventions of a normal video games.

The game uses a new and sophisticated gaming engine called RTE1080 (real time engine). The WarDevil RTE1080 Engine has been developed by DIGI-Guys to realise the graphical depth and complexity that's required for the WarDevil game. The RTE1080 is designed to work in 1920x1080 HD and to create a visual style that surpasses the look and feel of pre-rendered FMV sequences.

For those of you who don't know already, Wardevil is a PS3 exclusive and is set to hit sometime near the end of 2008 or possibly early 2009.

Some details the developers have said about the game:

- They are not finished with the game yet, still adding improvements both gameplay wise and graphically.

- They are making good use of the SPU's and streaming off of the Blu-ray disc

- Their goal is to get the Blu-ray film & game to look as identical as possible...so there is no transition between game/cinematic.

Funny you mentioning Naughty Dog, I used to work with Rich LeMarchand, their head of design. I like the way they work.

@Kaddasi Well several years of massively incompetent management didn't help. The company was bought for a _lot_ of money in 2007, so it shouldn't have been shortage of cash, unless that never actually reached the studio.

@Kaddasi oh alright. yah I agree ND is my favorite developer. They actually just released the uncharted 3 multiplayer trailer. You should look it up here on youtube cuz it looks really amazing and I also saw the uncharted 3 multiplayer interview when they interviewed one of the nd members and so far its going to be amazing. there adding so much stuff to it its mind blowing.

@Sleeky33 I know Naughty Dog working in Uncharted 3, but I was imagining if WarDevil were developed by ND, we would be playing it by now, ND is one of the best games developers for PS3.

@dotCody Well no one exactly knows what's happing with the company it self, but some time I imagine this game developed by Naughty Dog, I'm sure It will be amazing to see all of that running by their engine. Let me know what you think. Cheer mate !
