Batman Return of the Joker - Versions Comparison

This is comparison video between three version of the Batman Return of the Joker on the NES, Sega Genesis and SNES.

My favorite version is the NES one. I think it has the best graphics, best music and best gameplay out of three versions. Sega Genesis version is just bad. SNES version is quite deifferent from NES and Genesis ones. It's graphics is not bad and the game overloaded with specail effects, including Mode 7 ones.
But control remains a problem.

I like the way the nes version looks.. but I love the way the genesis version sounds with that FM synthesis chip.. too rugged!

Is it me or does the NES version look like a better overall game.Amazing graphics they were able to create on the NES.Never thought i'd be saying that a NES version of a game was better than the GEN version.

The Genesis version look like a sloppy port. The SNES version at least tried to be a good game.

the nes version is super smooth and has a great, minimalist gothic look.

genesis version is shameful. looks like a half-hearted botched Amiga game.

if they'd gotten the looks of the Batman movie game (Sunsoft genesis version) and ironed out the controls, could've been good.

@ShadowSumac I think the NES version kept the "gothic" style, that is what makes it better
