Trama
Siamo nella Cina di fine anni '30 sottomessa dai giapponesi. Il signor Yee è uno spietato esponente del governo fantoccio che ha sede a Shanghai, a capo dei servizi segreti, vive blindato in un bunker inespugnabile. La bella Wang Jiazhi è una studentessa che ha aderito alla resistenza e si finge amica della signora Yee. Inizia a frequentare la casa dell'uomo, per interminabili partite a majong. Sofisticata e all'apparenza sottomessa, ne intercetta gli sguardi e finisce per sedurlo con l'intento segreto di organizzare il suo omicidio insieme ai compagni di lotta. All'inizio timida e inesperta, ma determinata a portare a termine il piano, scopre il piacere, mentre lui s'insinua nel suo cuore.

Is it based on a true story ? Was there a Kuang and a Yee during the 30's and 40's in Shanghai ? I thought that collaborator Yee would be killed, but it was just the other way around.

The film was good. I like it very much.
