Re: Jimi Hendrix - Fire - pocket trio cover

The Pocket Trio, is an Ottawa funk-blues-trip trio whose career began roughly at the beginning of the 2008 calendar year. The formation of the band evolved out of three mutually passionate funk brothers who were keen on making groovy, naughty, phat music. Jam sessions soon developed into the rehearsals, and the pocket's debut performance was a biggy at the Canterbury High School Oscars featuring a full 45 minute set put together over the course of two weeks. The rest of the school year was spent rehearsing and playing shows, but also showed some intense songwriting periods. The band plans to record a debut EP sometime in late July '08. The release date is unspecified.

Ian - guitar, keyboard, vocals
Ryan - drums

An undeserved, crowd - pleasing encore to our show at Mavericks in Ottawa - a cover of fire by jimi hendrix. A bit rough, we know, but enjoy and tell us whatchou think.
