i'm in medical field( RN )and have been on methadone for 17 yrs. so I think I'm pretty educated on both fronts. And also by ur own admission in one of ur older vids u admit that u began using in96/'97 but not heavily until much much later. so which one is it? hard core user for 14 years, or on and off user with relatively recent heavy use? u say I shouldn't make assumptions, but was I wrong about u never having been to traditional trtmnt? I think not. but u sure as hell are an addict now!

@heatherseason you assume that the only drug I was doing heavily is opiates and that's not true. I'm 32 yrs old and havae been using anything or everything that was ever put in front of me since I was an 11 yrs old when I drank and smopked my first joint. Plus after starting juiceI smoked crack for 2 yrs. So I guess I would be considede a "multi" addict if there is such a word but I think snorting coke, at 12 doing extasy ghb, k, e ANYTHING makes me an addic.

OK u don't think I was a "hardcore" addict that's fine I can live without that distinction but who fucking cares? I LIVED IT it FELT hardcore living and now

@hailstorm1375 . I wish that one of my 3 attempts at treatment had "stuck" so I wasn't chained to methadone for the rest of my life. Good luck! ur gonna need it!

@hailstorm1375 methadone is far far worse to withdraw from than heroin, etc. even when taken very slowly.I just think you've given urself a gorilla on ur back instead of a monkey. MMT is a permanently life changing decision. From my experience,after ur on methadone, the only way to stay off of other opiates is to stay on MMT for the rest of one's life. detoxing from methadone is very rarely successful.

@hailstorm1375 my concern is not with the other drugs ur addicted to, the other drugs u mentioned ARE NOT physically addictive and do not require subsitution medication to get off of. It just seems that ur opiate addiction is not "bad" enuf for MMT. And since u admit to being polyaddicted i definately think treatment would have been a better option for u.

@heatherseason How do you know what my drug history is? It's not like I have poured my heart out on here. there have been a lot of things I kept to myself. I know methadone detox is awful. I've been a user since I was 11 yrs old and a hardcore user since I was 14. Don't make assumptions. Evryone has there own oppinion about juice, but you are Not a Doctor, nor do I thinkyou are an expert on methadone
