@Vysethedetermined2 I would pay for that! It would've been interesting to have played SNES games that had CD-quality music for once (not that the music wasn't that bad in the games).

Now I know how that Mexican guy felt in my high school's mandatory Spanish class.

@wrestletube1 I have the original Super Famicom trilogy with the audio discs and Voice-Kun module. I played the game and captured the audio/video seperately with a capture device (Dazzle Platinum).

How did you get sound?

Now I wish they had developed that CD-Rom device for it, that would've been real sweet!

@RetroToledo Yeah, the Voice-kun is an interesting way to bypass the system's storage limitations, but the CD-Rom add-on to the expansion slot would've made it that much better! I understand why they ultimately didn't (SNES' CPU, price, release date, etc.), but wouldn't it be crazy if the homebrew scene eventually emerged and made a CD-Rom add-on? It would require crazy skills on their part and talented developers to make any use of it, but I'd throw money at them just to see it in action.

Still it's very impressive to get full motion Manga running on the good old SNES. lol.

@wrestletube1 Yup. Emit is one of my favorite Super Famicom games (titles) for technical reasons.

@Vysethedetermined2 It doesn't look like a game to me. Just straight Manga.

@wrestletube1 This is part of series of videos illustrating the story without the other elements. It can be described as a educational game to teach the Japanese basic English and English speakers basic conversational Japanese. It goes over various aspects like word pronunciation, memorization, sentence structure, etc., all bundled together with an interesting plot that makes learning the language more fun. It's part of the "English Dream" series by Koei, which few games are a part of.
