  • i think when doctors put you on citalopram for anxiety they should allways start you off on 10mg for a week or 2 then increase it to 20mg not streight on to 20 it will drive you nuts and it saves them from giving you diazipam and having to go to the cutting you off process because that will give you more anxiety on top of the ssri wich will make you think its the ssri thats still causing you shit and not the benzo .

  • @happyguy215 Nah, first time on meds, and can't take in the morning because celexa space me out to much for my job, at the moment I need the the 8 hours to level out as I need to be focused at work!

  • @aberdeendeltaforce have you tried lexapro, lexapro and celexa are similar

  • @aberdeendeltaforce if you have trouble sleeping try taking it in the morning

  • @happyguy215 I'm on 20 for anxiety and I have a few side effects but nothing too dramatic, just problems getting off to sleep and feel a bit jittery and spaced out now and then but I'm only on my 4th day so who knows, Overall I feel a lot better though, very calm. I'd take 20 if i were you and monitor how your body deals with it, if you experience very bad side effect you maybe need to go down to 10, but I'm not a DR so speak to him about the dosage before you change anything.

  • @aberdeendeltaforce on the celexa website it says the recommended dose is 20mg, do you think 20 is too high for anxiety?

  • @happyguy215 10mg for anxiety and 20 for depression, 20 for severe anxiety with depression?
