Many of you know that this song initially started out as a 3/4 "waltz" on electric guitars and eventually becoming the acoustic (for the most part) ballad in 4/4 giving it that poignant feel. I wonder if it was George Martin who brilliantly suggested the change or if it was one of the Beatles? Anyone know?

this song is so much better with George's voice. I am glad they finally included his voice in it. All their songs sung by Paul, John and George are gems.
