  • Bull shit... Real bull shit if you are one of the few.

They do block and they are Soooooo full of shit.

  • i want to leave comcast so much...but i get better service then what i pay for so i cant (im cheaper than i am moral) maybe someday...

  • Greedy fucker comcast sucks and you suck Mr. Cohen.

  • ..........................no

  • I believe this the Harvard event in which Comcast paid seat warmers to fill seats (thus excluding critics)

  • So Mr Cohen was talking many fine words and beseeching a nuanced philosophy as befits his education but its got nothing to do with capitalism. He may as well be reading from Chairman Mao's little red book or reciting the engraved tributes made for the Pharaohs. If he was to speak honestly he would stand up, say "We intend to pursue our revenues to the maximum extend economically possible" and then sit down and shut up.

  • So sure - THIS week's CEO gives every sincere assurance about good corporate practice and genuinely means it. But what happens when they're "gifted" control, placing millions at the end of their string and a few years later CEO No.3 gets a brainwave; "Hey, let's start charging what the market can bear and see how much we can clean up! What a break-through concept!"

Capitalism has one goal - to maximize cash income for the owners by any means possible that are not explicitly illegal.

  • This move against net neutrality is lame and doomed but its sagging carcass of a concept is kept alive purely by the money play of the telecoms. Consider these points and then decide for yourself:

Would you want atmospheric oxygen to be privatized into the hands of a few giant Corporations?

In the few years its been up, the internet has already become the business oxygen for the ever expanding majority of trade and commerce.
