On March 8th 2011, a news conference I hosted for the family of murdered victim Shane Williams who was shot to death last week in the Dundas W. and Scarlett Rd. area. Cameron Holder, Williams' father, issued an emotional plea on Tuesday for anyone with information to call police. He stated "This is not about my son anymore," he added. "This is about Toronto, this is about the youths. We need to stop this senseless killing." as told to CTV News and a whole host of news media.
None of us ever think it is "our turn" To that cabbie who dropped me off at the funeral home yesterday, if you think because your son goes to the library daily and "can't" get involved in these kind of murders, think again. The Late Adrian Johnston went to the library daily, he was gunned down. Jarvis St Remy was a good child, he was gunned down. NO ARRESTS. It can happen to any of us....and not knowing who killed your child you bought into the world is more pain.
