Mr. GERSON: We're starting to see a reaction not just from the tea party on the budget, but people that are really concerned about global health spending cuts in the--in the Republican budget. There are now commercials running on Christian radio stations attacking key districts, attacking Republicans, and we had the administrator of USAID this last week talk about the cuts Republican in the House are proposing would result in the death of 70,000 children. That's a serious charge.
MATTHEWS: Thirty-thousand, your great count from malaria. I had malaria. You don't want to die from malaria. It can be stopped.
Mr. GERSON: Right. But it would be--it would be a terrible paradox if Republicans, having criticized death panels, were to become a death panel in this process.
