Paul Thorburn kicks the longest ever penalty kick for Wales against Scotland at the Cardiff Arms Park 1986.
I believe this kick brought him attention from the NFL. Glad he wasn't persuaded though, he kicked us to 3rd place in the 1st RWC

This kick is nothing....my mate Dave AKA Del Coates ...the top points scorer in Balckheath rugby club's history is a much better kicker than Paul Thorburn, or Jonny Wilkinson, or Dan Carter!!! Its true because he has told me 167 times!!!!

That is a HUGE kick, back on the wet grounds before the roof was closed to save the field.

Not only was the ball one of the old types but he doesn't use a tee...just digs a hole in the ground and gives it a "monster smack"

Its not the longest kick of all time. David Rees kicked a ball in Ponty and it landed in a coal truck and ended up in Porth.
