nothing is stopping ANY american from designing,building and launching their own space vehicle for their own personal thrill.we are not PRISONERS of this country or planet! we can vactation anywhere in the universe we so choose,and if anyone tries to deny you that freedom,SHOOT THEM DEAD like any red blooded american would to preserve his/her personal freedoms!then take your vacation! most dont have the brains or the money to pull it off. i lack the money and workspace.but its not hard to do.

Good point. Let's see:

$200k divided by 15 minutes means 1 minute in "space" (not all of these 15 minutes give you the experience) costs about $13,300.

One day in orbit for $50 mil. means 1 minute costs you about $34,700. If you spend one week in orbit, then the price is "only" $5000 per minute.

Suborbital "space" tourism doesn't make much sense to me.

BTW, Skylon with passenger module:

$10 mil. per flight / ~20 passengers = $500,000 for full orbital experience.

$50,000,000 with PKA - Orbital flight to the ISS for days, if not weeks!

well worth the price if you can afford.
