@lin4say Thanks for the kind words! There is just not enough civility on the internet, I try my best to always be civil, sometimes I fall short. I made this video because there was not another like it and I hoped people would find it helpful.

@jaminboy119 Yes.
I see your comment was flagged as spam. I did not flag it. But, maybe some other viewers flagged your comment because they thought it was redundant. You are repeating exactly what the video and description said.
Did you watch the video?

That apparent shaft bend is due the to the way the shutter works on the camera. It's a slot that scans downwards so the pixels at the lower end of the picture are actually captured later that the ones at the top, therefore showing and apparent bend in the shaft.

@VillageGolfClub Thanks for commenting! There are certainly a lot of good golf instructors working online. Check out my playlists that I have on my channel. I'm trying to collect all the best instruction videos. I need it more than anyone!
Thanks for your clear explanation. I had read that the extreme shaft bend was due to distortion and observed on TV the Konica super slo-mo showing no shaft bend. Now you have provided proof.

its guys like me that make great guys like you.im pleased i put up an argument and you explained it so well.i know you have been trying to tell mw in the past ,but this time i realise i was wrong.thanks to great websites like youtube,us golfers can learn more.my distortion video ,makes golfers rethink the fundamentals.i dont see this as a bad thing.thanks for your imput.one last question?why cant i hit a 3 iron with a shower rail shaft(no flex)?i made one ,and i cant hit a thing with it.

@lin4say 3 iron too stiff:
Too heavy? It's hard to hit a long club that is heavy. Your arm muscle are working too hard to keep the club from burrowing into the ground. Swing speed will be slower.
If it doesn't flex when the head impacts with the ball, the ball will come off the face low with no spin. The bending that occurs through impact has a big influence on launch angle and spin.
No flex=no droop, clubhead will be upright at impact and you'll tend to catch it on the hosel.
My best guess!
