Dell EIR Video Series: At SXSW Eco this past year, Dell's Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR), Ingrid Vanderveldt (iV), got to meet Jennifer Tullis, co-founder of Biomimicry TX. Jennifer has bachelor's in Biology and a Master's in Architecture and is on the cutting edge of Biomimicry, an emerging field that uses nature as a model for human innovation. As a fellow conference attendee with a M. Arch, Ingrid was eager to learn about the practical application of this field and asked to share on camera an example of what they are studying (e.g. organisms that have been doing this for billions of years) and why it matters relative to helping humans be more sustainable.
