I didn't say it was right I just gave the obvious reasons why he took a wife. If America was less homophobic with such double standards in the media, I a pretty sure he would have been openly gay at the start. Also, FYI, anyone who cheats on their spouse, gay or straight, exposes them more than just HIV.

Think about it. He is in the public eye and working in politics. Having a family and children just boosts your PR to give you the image of a respectable all american family man. If he had vioced his sexuality first I doubt he would have become governor or even that far which is really sad.
