Hey Gleeks! I'm Jager Weatherby from Wetpaint Entertainment, and it's official — I'm already in love with Damian McGinty Jr. from The Glee Project.

Damian hails from Derry City in Northern Ireland — so you know what that means, right? He's sure to have an adorable accent. And though he's only 18, he's already been in the spotlight for several years. Freakin' overachiever! Damian joined the five-person Irish vocal group Celtic Thunder when he was only 14! So at the age when most guys only make money when they get a birthday card from grandma, Damian was already recording the group's first album. Damn, buddy — slow down! You're giving us a complex.

Since then, the band has managed to record five more albums. Plus, they've toured all around the world, and have even performed at the White House for President Obama. If you can count the leader of the free world as a fan, you're in pretty good shape. In fact, we're guessing it's only a matter of time before Obama gets the words "I Love Damian" tattooed somewhere on his body. Get on that, Barack!

But aside from his talent, Damian seems like a genuinely nice guy and we just wanna squeeze him til he bursts. (C'mon, admit it — you kinda want to, too.) His favorite bands are Coldplay and Journey — which is appropriate, since he'll probably get to meet Gwyneth Paltrow if he joins the cast of Glee, and Glee has covered approximately 80,000 Journey songs. On top of that, he loves the soccer, Harry Potter, and chocolate chips. Don't ask how we know this — we just do. Okay, so maybe we're stalkers. Don't judge!

Apparently, we're not the only ones with a bad case of Damian fever. There's a whole lotta love for this guy all over our Wetpaint Facebook page. Erin B. tells us, "I LOVE Damian McGinty!!!!!! I have all 6 Celtic Thunder CDs plus 3 of the show DVDs." Whoa — and we thought WE were obsessed! Bernadette V. kept it short and sweet, exclaiming, "Team Damian!!" We have a feeling it's gonna be a big team.

When I saw Damian on the Glee Project, I was thinking, where have

I seen him before? And then, when he mentioned Celtic Thunder,

I was like "OMG! You are that guy? You sang come by the hills, and Puppy love, and................OMG!"  I freaked out..............just a little bit. lol

Well Sam won too I think Damian should keep playing Rory and Lindsay should still be Harmony. I think Sam should play the role of Mitchel Cox and he could have a twin brother, Mathew Cox. I also think Alex should play the role of Darnell Thomas and could have a sister named Christina. he should also have a sister named Abigale who died at age 11 of some cause. that would be my idea of the perfect characters for them to play in glee. I guess I'll have to wait and see who Sam and Alex play on glee
