The Platters were just super great! I was lucky to spend the night with most of the group about 45 years ago, after they appeared at The Club 500 in Atlantic City. We went to an all nite bar and shot pool. Unforgettable nite.

Better than Judy Garland and numerous other versions. Little is known about the lead singer Tony Williams. When he left the group the popularity of the group dropped instantly. But why wasn't he successful? His voice is one in a million.
