  • awesome.

  • I'm thankful that there are still Native American people alive today. I'm ashamed to live in the U.S. without being Native American and will be moving away as soon as I can afford it. The environment would not be dying if such a caring, intelligent people had been able to keep this land, rather than an overflow of usurpers who didn't know how to control their own populations at home, and who insulted their own deity by using his name to commit such atrocities. No god would have wanted this.

  • I'm thankful that my grandfather left the squalid conditions of the reservation to find a better life. I'm thankful that I saw past the euro-centric bias in my history classes, and researched my ancestors' stories. I'm thankful that I paid attention in English class so I don't sound like ignorant, white trash when I post on the internet.

  • Im thankful that I live in a huge house and have butlers and maids so I never have to lift a finger and for money

  • I'm Thankful that we have a roof over our heads & food for our bellies. I am Thankful that this country existed to welcome my ancestors at Ellis Island. I am Thankful for my Native American heritage too.

  • I am Thanfull for brave people like my ancestors who conquered this land. For their efforts they were awarded Land patents from President Andrew Jackson.Due to brave people like my ancestors we now have our own nation and through devine providenced are blessed with sustanence and prosperity. We have homes and dont live by eating tree bark or burn buffalo dung to stay warm. For this I am thankfull.

  • Isn't Thanksgiving supposed to be a celebration about a short-lasting peace between the settlers and natives?

  • It is therefore recommended to the legislative or executive powers of these United States, to set apart THURSDAY, the eighteenth Day of December next, for Solemn Thanksgiving and Praise; That with one Heart and one Voice the good People may express the grateful Feelings of their Hearts, and consecrate themselves to the Service of their Divine Benefactor;......under the Providence of Almighty GOD, to secure for these United States the greatest of all human blessings, INDEPENDENCE and PEACE;-1777

  • i'm certainly thankful

  • five stars
