  • Thank you so much for posting this, I was stuck on one part and this helped. Very easy to understand. props.

  • @BrettH999 Thanks for the feedback

  • First off thank you for doing this video. You are a excellent guitar player an a good teacher. Having said that however, I found the second one a little fast and vague. Is there any chance I could get a sheet of the chords to go along with this video? I would love to continue learning this song. Thanks again.

  • @JacquesZXC Thanks. I know I said that I would post the tabs, and I intend to, but it's difficult to figure out how to work in the slap picking. I don't know how to write it out.

  • you guys need to stop being babies, this is the only GREAT tutorial for this song, if you are a beginner guitarist than stop complaining and practice other stuff more, this guy did a great job for me, thanks a ton swingfire i just mastered this song in 1 hour, and i know you must feel annoyed by all the people that must be "spoonfed"

  • @OO7coolioOO7 I appreciate this comment, thank you very much

  • awesome song love how you r teaching it to i leared this once from another video befoe this one came out but its was nothing like john mayer or even the orig. i love wat u did made props. is it possible u can show what the other guitarst does on the live version in the break btw vs on free falin and also could u show the 2nd bridge to that would really be awesome.

  • @kayla101000 Just try, it's not that many varation of strings that sound the same, just search for the right rone by trying.

  • @hoyu152 It's not random notes, they're merely an extension of the main chord pattern. So it you're playing the main D, G, A progression it's merely a matter of fingerpicking the middle strings in between as you go to get that filled in sound. This guy plays his version great, but I think there's a much easier way to play it. Message me if you're interested.

  • Can you please tell my the notes your playing between chords.. its not like the intro when you just pause between the D. You are playing like a fill of random notes..that I don;t know!

  • Great work there, thx to you I can actually say That I can almost play one of my fav, songs.Since you know how to teach it would be great if you'd show us some other cool songs.Neon, Your body is a wonderland or i dont know, anything from John. And thanks again! :)

  • Way to fast...im having a hard time seeing what strings you are hitting.

  • You should do some jack Johnson songs

  • sooo basically playing it faster and adding slap for rythm??

  • I prefer this part over part 1 ahaha this is easier

  • Awesome tutorial. It really helped and I was able to master it within a couple of days. The only question I had was on the bridge part and which strings you're plucking. Do you have a tab without the slaps in it, because I think that would be really helpful, and then people could just listen to this video to figure out where the slaps should go. I appreciate your help again man. Great player, great teacher.
