There's no question that The Twilights ranked alongside their contemporaries The Masters Apprentices and The Easybeats and solo singer Normie Rowe as one of the most successful and popular Australian pop acts of the 1960s, and they continue to enjoy a unique reputation in the top echelon of the OzRock pantheon. The Twilights have earned acclaim and respect for their formidable body of recorded work, coupled with their legendary status as arguably the most polished and accomplished Australian live act of the era. This song was their fifth single.

  • "Bad Boy" was The Twilight's FIFTH single after "I'll Be Where You Are","Come on Home","If She Finds Out" and their great version of Baby let Me Take You Home".

  • @wellsy1954 - I stand corrected.

  • is that a go go boy in the back

  • Not a go go boy but a second lead singer (Clem "Paddy" McCartney) who didn't get to sing in this particular song. Check out 'Needle in a Haystack' to see him do more.

  • @themitchies why? because he can keep a rythm with his hips instead of just grinding his dick into some random girls ass on the dance floor?

  • @arianajeann My thoughts exactly.....

  • littlemikey1954Thanks mate.

  • @wellsy1954 Another fellow rock and roll maniac born in the year that gave us "Sh Boom" by the Crew Cuts. You know your music! Thanks for the great trivia!

  • The lead singers hips are hypnotic.

  • the Beatles did it better

  • For me the Twilights is a completely new acquaintance. But, I must say that they are very good. Music from the 60s and from Australia is enormously interesting to rediscover.

Music from Scandinavia during this special period is also fantastic. Check up a totally unknown band: THE ZETTLERS and their versions of "Skinnie Minnie" and "Beautiful Delilah". The recordings were made already 1965. Unbelievable. Listen for example to the bass and to the guitars.

  • Shorrock was at his best even then.....a natural.....

  • The guitar interludes remind me of the guitar in "Harper Valley PTA."
