When my children are grown I am more likely to adopt another shelter dog. Three of the five dogs my family adopted in my lifetime had social problems, and two of them bit - one bit a baby who was crawling around, and another bit me severely on the hand. Both attacks were unprovoked in supervised settings. I won't take that chance with children in the house again. This time we bought from a breeder and it was the best decision for us. I don't like playing the lottery with dog ownership.

Why did Peta waste their time and money making this when they could have been saving the animals?

lol

Because they need to get the message out there that dogs are dying in shelters, Peta can't adopt every single shelter dog!

They already have like 100+ videos about animal cruelty and such, it's just wasting time to make more when they could just use the material they already have.

Does adopting from a shelter cost any money? Just asking.

Most shelters do ask for a donation. This usually goes towards the cost of spaying/neutering, microchipping and general upkeep.

Peta don't want all pit bulls dead! Please read their factsheet on the Peta website about pit bulls for the real facts.

How do you 'save' dogs? While you're breeding more dogs other dogs are dying in shelters.
