FAQ Video 1 - Part 1 of 2 - Recording Video and Sound, Emulators and other Questions

Taking a quick break from uploading Braid, to upload the first of many FAQ videos, in an effort to cut down on the number of questions I recieve on this specific subject.

Questions Answered in Part 1 of the Two Part Video:
Q) What programs do you use to record?
A) Short Answer: Fraps, Growler Guncam, Quick Screen Recorder for this specific video.
Certain Emulators can also export AVI, personally I do not recommend this.

Q) How do you record voice and gamesound?
A) See video.

Q) What settings do you use for volume?
A) See video.

Q) Can I have the Keys for Fraps/Guncam.
A) If you really don't want to pay for them, google it. I won't be handing the code out for obvious reasons.

Q) How do you use X Program?
A) I skim over it in the video. I assume I don't need to go into excessive detail.

Q) Do you use emulators?
A) Yes.

Q) What emulators do you use?
A) The Following:
Kega Fusion : Megadrive, Game Gear, Master System.
ZSnes : SNES. (Obviously)
FC Ultra X : NES.
Mame Plus Plus & WinKawaks : Arcade
ZXSpin : ZX Spectrum.
Win68k & XM6 : X68000

I assume most people are smart enough to understand (or.. guess.. that's what I did, XD) what specific parts of the programs do what, so I don't go into detail, and just skim over things. If you need me to be more specific, I can make more detailed videos, but this was pretty much recorded on a whim. (and unscripted.. note to self, script the next FAQ video!)
I feel i'll need to go into slightly more detail on settings, but remember what settings work on my PC may not work on your PC! (Which is why I didn't go into detail here.)

If you don't have Stereo Mix (alternatively called "What you hear") on your PC.. then.. I can't help. I offer an alternative in Part 2.

Sidenote: I didn't misspell the title of the Megaman ZX music.. Gradation is an actual word. :P

Hey bud, What kind Kega Fusion version do you use. Do you Convert your record gaming videos.

@MadGamer3945 I don't convert anything, (well, other than importing them into Movie Maker for editing), I just use Fusion 3.6. It's compatable with Fraps.

hey I can't find the recording settings anymore when I record from my webcam at the bottom where it tells you how many mins etc. all Im getting is a square box.

so I don't know what to do. Youtube help is terrible.
