Documentary looking at the history of American foreign policy in the Middle East and its consequences and repercussions.
Part one sets the stage for America's entry as the predominant power in the Middle East. America's rivalry with the Soviet Union and it's concern over securing oil in the region drive the U.S. to fill the power vacuum left by the European powers ravaged by WWII.

Guess we need to drill domestically and create gas quotas for every American so that we won't depend on foreign oil. We could all do what the UN's AGENDA 21 recommends: Stack and Pack the masses in high risers in the cities. Easy to control, easier on the environment, easier to brainwash. Works for the Chinese!
