Believe it or not, that was a great drum lesson by Ansley Dunbar in how to power play a ballad, especially with those left-handed fills. Love his playing. Great band.

@GibsonRedSpecial Thanks. It makes sense when you listen to the subtle change from the Ziggy / Spiders album material to the Alladin Sane and Diamond Dogs songs, which I think fit Dunbar's super-hard drumming perfectly. His nickname, after all, was "The Beast." I still love Woody W, of course. Anyway, thanks again.

@GibsonRedSpecial Do you know this? I'm not doubting you, I'm just interested to know if that's really how it happened. The drummer here--Aynsley Dunbar--is my all-time favorite rock drummer, but I've always been interested to know the circumstances under which he replaced Woodmansey, whom I've always liked a lot, as well. Thanks.
