How to use MAC 212 Flat Brush, 10 versatile uses

Use the MAC 212, a flat brush, to define eyebrows, line the eyes, line waterline, tightline eyelids, apply eyeshadow, and many more.

Also use this brush to create a Cat-Eye liner look. This is the most fastest and easiest way I've seen yet and I love this brush for it.

Any flat rectangular brush will perform the same job. In this video I'm specifically just using the MAC 212 brush to demonstrate the uses of this type of brush.

I find this brush too cumbersome for lining the eyes(particularly the top lash line).it covers a good amount of space and being straight-edged..its kind of hard to follow the 'curve' of the lashline. Good for bottom lash line though. I mostly used it to clean up the edges of my eyebrows with concealer. Its the perfect tool for this and gives you a crisp clean looking brow!

@washadurn Yes, I agree. This brush doesn't seem like it's meant for drawing lines around curves, you'd have to push the products along the curves, and this does make it very time consuming. Thank god, you can do other things with this brush still.

@doglovingdreamer Yes the tip of this brush is really soft, you can actually see this in my demonstration when I'm wiggling the brushes back and forth.

I also use the 212 to outline red lips with concealer for a really sharp edge :)
