  • i meant under the first west yorkshire division.

  • cardiff bus dont like to pay to look after there buses you got to newport and see there buses no a dent or mark on there panit work they look after there buses

  • I believe it was the 88, if my memory serves me correctly but having said that i could be wrong because at the time i was a school boy from south wales in a strange city not knowing where i've been and where i was heading. Used to be a killer recording my moves when i first started bashing the Leeds N113 Striders.

  • dont u mean N113??

  • this bus now nothing but parts in pvs barnsley as i saw only the remains of the fleet number in scrap pile.

  • Yeah, I think there were two versions of the Scania: the W113 (this one here) and the L113, which I think had a lower floor and quieter engine. The L113CRL was the 'super low floor' variant which was the first type of bus in Yorkshire to get the lowering floors, with Wright Access Ultralow bodywork - and those were VERY quiet, and smooth.

Where as the W113's aren't much fun to ride on if you need to pee!!

  • I could have sworn these buses sounded different (albeit 10 years ago). They had more of a droning, quieter engine noise from the inside. The same with the Scania Alexanders (which are being taken away from Leeds, I think).

  • Looks like you had a really rough ride in there!!
