From what I've seen around, the sleepypod seems perfect for airtravel. I have one of those bulky wheeled back-pack/trolleys as a pet carrier and even though it's versatile, every time I get to my seat in the plane, I have to take out my dog from it (with the hostesses' protests), remove the wheels+panel at the base, squeeze the carrier under the seat (despite the hostesses' continued complaints and protests) and then put my doggie back in..... it gets annoying and exhausting.

im almost sold on this, the only reason why im not buying this yet is because the privacy cover for the mesh only covers half of it. Im looking for something that gives me the option to almost complete privacy for a short period of time. Does it come with two of those covers?
Is the Sleepypod Air approved by all airlines? Can you please specify which airlines won't allow Sleepypod Air?

@arta4482 The Sleepypod Air compresses down to 41×26×20cm well below those limits.

The privacy panels are simple pieces of plastic. We can get you a second one if that would seal the deal!
