Graphene can have terrible uses as well as good.
Powerful armoury for the wrong army, graphene bullets etc.
But at the end of the day, I'd definitely say the pro's outweight the cons.

Great Nokia, but now make a real step towards quality and STOP making your phones in fucking Korea and move your factories back to Scandinavia. Fools

It's not 2d. I think the presenter means one atom thick. Thick being the thing that makes it 3d.

The problem with this GREAT discovery it's the usage of this material....
for peace purposes and industry only, it should be very useful!!!
And not making weapons for killing people... like the atomic energy that return like boomerang against us!!!

That's exactly what it means. You can't get less than an atom.

How is it a 2 dimensional material? They are made of atoms, being a single layer doesn't make them any less 3D.

Graphiene is too light for a bullet, you need mass for the momentum of a bullet to be substantial, however, graphiene-coated bullets could be used for super AP rounds

Graphene bullets will be less efctive than led bulets, because its so light

there is a difference between projectile use and bear strength of graphene. graphene is very light so when you propagate it, it will not produce enough force to penetrate body Armour that is why they use lead because it is very heavy but did you know that lead is very weak. it may be not stronger than graphite it is at 1.5 at mohs scale equivalent. there is a difference between strength and weight all are made for different uses. However graphene will make a very good Armour for any use.
