We are using Islander Reels and Raven Vectra SST 3, Rods are St. Croix and G Loomis GL2, GL3 and IMX. No videos posted with my GLX yet. All 13ft steelhead rods. And for bait, mainly fresh salmon roe, naturally cured.

Thanks for your comments. Sy Moua

  • this is all flyfishing only huh nice job guys wish i was there too

  • Nah, this isn't flyfishing. I don't even know how to fly fish yet. Wanna start learning this year. This is called "float fishing" or "centerpin" fishing. It's becoming very popular in the Great Lakes area. Almost all serious fishermen fish this style. It's a lot more effective, it's more fun and the fight is a whole different game.

Once you catch a big fish on a float, you'll never go back to bait casting or spin casting!

  • @flymoua This style must be popular in Canada because my Uncle does it to.

Who's your uncle? He lives in Canada?
