The death was in the town of Durham, not Toronto.

COOL! This tornado was playing an electric guitar! It must have sucked up a Guitar Hero and was powering it with the hydro lines it zapped.

No fear...we were no where close to this thing. The building didn't even shake.

Yeah, but the CN Tower is too far to the south - you wouldn't have seen a thing. Check out some of the Toronto news sites; people driving closer to the tornado sent in their footage.

apparently there was one in pickering and oshawa but only breifly. would explain why a lot of the greenboxes on my street were tossed around..
