I've had my dreads for 6 months now, and have been asked to make videos for advice on how to begin and upkeep. This is my first ever video! More to come about using a crochet hook, how to maintain roots, and anything else people ask me. Enjoy!

  • I love your dreads. I hate seeing people with those big, ugly, did them myself because i was bored so i have a total of 10 in my whole head dreads. -____-

  • @MizMimiCullen I did them myself and it was simply luck that they turned out like they did, I think. Everybody will have different dreads and that's the beauty of it.

  • this is super helpful, ive been considering them fer like a year now and i think yew helped convince me all the way, lol. very pretty : ]

  • @Quiggzilla Yay! Good luck :)

  • dreads will come naturally, without shampoos and stuff, which is the point of dreads.

  • @SuperFirstComment Natural dreads will form over time if you just leave your hair, I know. These videos only describe my journey, the methods I used, and my experiences of them. What 'the point' of dreads is can be totally different depending on the individual or culture.

  • @BigEyeGreedy This is a really strange thing to say on a video about dreadlocks...

  • @LAClippersfan2 Educate yourself on the history of dreadlocks- by which I mean read something legit, not a 20 second video that simply consists of photographs. They are not exclusive to one race or culture, but are present in many different cultures throughout the history of the world.

  • is it good to use the rubber band method?

  • Very informative! Thank you! I am still debating on whether or not to dread...

  • do you leave the rubber bands you used in your hair or do you take those out so they dont damage your hair or do you leave them in?

  • i love your voice marry me

  • @JameeyJ Which was the fucking point. That you obviously didn't see. It doesn't matter who started dreads, They aren't just for people of African cultures. So YOU shut the fuck up.

  • @xxkhareyxx haha egyptians are from Africa, that means that they are african, get your facts straight, and who cares where it started, were you there? ok then, you cant just lump one ggroup together and say they started something. If you cant prove it then you dont know...so stfu. A lot of cultures did dreads.

  • Where did you get your comb again?

  • that looks like a flea comb

  • say your hair grows and you have straight hair instead of dreads at the roots. how do u fix that?

  • @eakhful Well they came out really nice :)
