  • Love the graft jacket! This patient will have full use and strength when the tendon is healed 6-8 weeks after the repair.

  • omg, the pain i go through everyday at the back of my ankles is intolerable, both legs... i wake up with stiff legs, cant walk. when i start to exercise, the pain gets intense and doesn't go away, pain and burning sensation. i cant press on the area. i have been having this problem for 2 years now...

  • I had surgery also PAIN OMG I WOULDN'T WISH THAT, PAIN ON ANYONE MY TENDON WAS CUT RIGHT THROUGH I STAYED UP CRYING IN MAJOR PAIN FOR MONTHS AND I MEAN PAINFUL

  • this is disgusting!

  • I had this surgery in march 2011....FUCKING AWESOME.

  • No music in the OR :(

  • wait, k, so i posted last year, and as i said i cut it straight in half, now it has a thick part in that area, is it just scar tissue or is it the graft jacket?

  • i had surgery on mine because they were so tight I could only walk on my toes thank you Shriners Hospital

  • I ruptured my left Achilles Tendon 2 years ago. This video brings back memories!! Ouch! When I look back, recovery wasn't to bad. 4 weeks in a non weight bearing cast. 2 Weeks in a full weight bearing cast. Then into a removable boot. At that time you start therapy.

  • I have achilles tendonitis but I dont know if its micro tears or a partial rupture. It got so painful that I cried for and hour... now I am in a plaster cast. The crying "episode" happened (while I was in a walking boot) after my MRI so my doctor doesnt know the current extent of the injury... should I have surgery? all other treatments are not working.
