I wish he had done this a little slower, but all the same, a damn good cover of a great song. I'm just getting to know Curless at 52. Heard his name all the time as a very young kid like around 64-69. I was born and live in Maine. Glad to hear/see this video.
Thank you for posting on YouTube and to Dick's grandson Willy Chinnock for linking on Facebook.. I do not have enough words in my vocabulary to express what a wonderful man and singer was Dick Curless. A belated thanks to Bill Chinnock for recording Dick alone with his accoustic guitar, it is the best music Dick ever did. "Changin' Times" is a gem. Where are my eye-patch wearing happy face bumper stickers?
hey keef...my parents knew Dick very well and i grew up going to his house on outer ohio street and playing on that train and the fire engine he had right next to it....i also had the great pleasure of accompanying him with my violin when i was about 12 in my church in brewer...he was a great man and the world is at a loss without him...
