My humble attempt at on of my favorite songs from the master Joe Satriani. Played on my Ibanez Jem 77VBK, through a Line 6 Spidervalve 212, with Bognar tubes. I know it has been awhile since I've posted a new vidoe so I hope this was worth the wait. God bless you all!

  • excellent barrberyman me again bud. im doin hnc music and i would love to use that piece . could you help me out with some REAL TABS for that tune?

  • @Adam777s I would love to help you out bro (thanks again for your kind comments), but I didn't learn this from tabs I learned it by ear and watching videos. Thats not to say I have anything against tabs, they are just another tool to use to take us to that next level of playing! Cherry Lane makes a tab book of Satch's greatest hits and this one is on there. You should be able to find it on the internet.

  • excellent video mate . could you please tell me how long it took you to learn that piece of music. id really like to learn it.

  • @Adam777s It didn't take me but a few days. Having said that it's not because it isnt a masterful piece of music. I've been playing for a long time, and it usually takes me afew days to get down a song. It usually isn't a matter of technique being a problem, but memorizing the changes and solos. Try to lmemorize the entire piece at a reduced tempo and then work it up to speed. Thanks for the kind comment! Cheers!

  • dude that was one of te most solid covers ihave heard of satch on youtube. 10 stars. my applause

  • Thanks bro! I am putting several new videos up soon, and I hope they are received the same. It's always inspiring to hear good comments. It lets me know that all my hours of practice (4-6 a day) are paying off. Thanks again.

  • Nice cover man!!

  • @RySa222 And for the ones (or even for you) who are curious about the cover i mentioned : /watch?v=qiFJNSb9FUk

  • Well, i wouldn't do it better, so i don't wanna sound like rude or arogant but for me, it was just as good as a regular amateur cover of a song. I've already seen a cover of that song, that was (don't punch me now, but it's my opinion) better than the one performed by satriani, so that might be a reason why i'm not very excited by this one. But still, it's not an easy song, so good job anyway (you would probably played it better already, since this one is from almost 3 years )

  • This isn't too bad of a cover, so good job. I know this is an old vid, but from one guitarist to another, you should work on your bending because most of them were out of tune, some as much as a full semi tone while others were about a quarter tone off. You may have fixed this problem by this time, but I still wanted to voice the concern. Still a good cover though.

  • Just wanted to say this is absolutely the gayest thing i've ever heard

  • What are you using to achieve your tone? Amp? Pedals? Rack? Line 6? Thanks for the lovely playing...

  • Very good!

  • it will sound better with a wah

  • sounds very good !!

  • Waooo this is great awesome!! What way to make the sound go through those strings!!!

I ll love to play this song and more of Joe S.

God bless you ! You get the talent!!
