Here is a revised version of the video that composes the photos better. Again, please watch at high quality.
Thank you,

A montage of photos of my "friends" and me, frolicking to the song which played over the opening credits of the motion picture, "Roar", starring Tippi Hedren and melanie Griffith.

N' CHI YA NANI (WHOSE LAND IS THIS?)

There's fire in the sky in the morning
When the sun is a crimson dawning
And the earth is aglow like a burning ember.
Whose land is this?
This is my land!
N' Chi Ya Nani

There's a diamond in the sky in the evening
When the fire of the sun is leaving
And it shines on a land that's alive with wonder.
Whose land is this?
This is my land!
N' Chi Ya Nani

See the shadow of the eagle in the sunrise;
Hear the music of the children in the moonrise;
Feel the power of the lion when he roars like thunder.
Whose land is this?
This is my land!
N' Chi Ya Nani

(From the original 1981 motion picture soundtrack, "Roar")

  • Oh my goodness gosh - when I was 14 this was my FAVOURITE song - I had a cassette tape I'd taped off the radio - a C60, and the entire cassette was this song over and over. When I found it just now I was almost too scared to hit play in case it wasn't as wonderful as I remember from my youth - but I STILL have tears in my eyes now listeneing to it almost 30 years later. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING!!!!

  • So glad the song has been such a joy all these years

  • magnifique chanson... je l'ai tant recherché... merci.. beaucoup !!! sincerement....

  • Hi Rob;

    Wow !!! What a song - Wow - and what pictures.

    Is that you on the pictures in Africa? I am just stunt - I think I need a drink to revive myself. Like I said if this is you singing what a glorious voice, what a gift . I feel I must have lived on the moon not to have heard of you.

    Best regards,

    Tina

  • Tausend Dank, Tina. That is me with the animals--gulp--with whom I lived for a year. You weren't living on the moon; perhaps just not yet living at all! It was 1981. In Deutschland in '82.

  • Hello Mr.Florczak,
