A graduate of the UCLA Producers Program, Pray talks about his joy of getting (back) into Sundance, his thoughts on creativity, and his UCLA experience.
This film is better described last ditch attempt to smear lipstick on the pig that is our industry. As much as I used to think my work was high art - it wasn't. More like a cleverly contrived gimmick designed to seduce peasants to buy garbage they didn't even need.
"A film about the greatest advertising, a portrait of the dozen people behind the biggest campaigns of our generation - but nobody knows who those people are. Like the average person doesn't know who came up with JUST DO IT for Nike, or GOT MILK or all those iPod images for Apple. The film tries to trace where those ideas came from."
Doug, You are great. I am watching Infamy and I feel like there is no camera and the people are talking to me. The way you do it is so natural. It is not only great film making your films are also sociologically and historically significant, as you make a durable record of American niche cultures. Thanks.
Hay does anybody know if Dough Pray has a twitter account? I like this production and would enjoy following this guy and seeing were he is at today?

You are forever fabulous Doug! Still a brilliant charmer with that great twinkle in your voice. Bring more films to Seattle and your divine self.
