Hearing People Don't Understand Deafies!

Communication Barriers are still ongoing for years even though our deaf awareness open each year! They still are igorants!

I don't know a lot of signs but when I see it I know it's signs right away. It shouldn't be hard for people to know when someone is deaf and can't communicate. I know a lot people are ignorant of everything they aren't involved in.

@TravR1 I can't say more because I like your common sense. I tried to lipread like hearing people thought I could be an expert at lipreading...I only lipread and understand less than 25% that I am more comfortable with sign language then people use sign language to make sure I understand better. Some doesn't as well. Thanks!

Yes hearing people are ignorant about deaf people. It's because they have never been exposed to a deaf person before and don't know how to react or what to expect. It's a shame that there isn't more of us deaf people in our population.
