Well... in my opinion this is not even THAT close to SRV tone man. No offence.

Cut back on the delay just a tad. Its causing some overly on notes that is kind of distorting the tone. Maybe just cutting back the delay time a hair.

@TheSammyreynolds did they change it? I got one of the first GDEC3's and you could not change the key, just the pitch and it sounded weird when you did that, not like the GDEC 30 or the original GDEC where you can actually change the key.....it's good if they did.

Aw man, seeing your guitar is a painful reminder to me - when that particular strat model came out there was one at a local music store and I played on it. I loved it. Great tone and the neck, to this day, is one of my all-time favorite guitar necks. I loved the feel and finish. I thought about buying it but couldn't justify it at the time, other priorities, not a lot of extra cash and had several guitars (including a strat) already. Great guitar though. Great demo too. Thanks!

hey man, how has that G-Dec 30 held up? I been using mine since 07, it started making bad feedback and noise,
I got one of the new G-dec 3's, it sounds better, but the software is still buggy and you cant change the key in the songs, like the 30, they are real band presets, but liked being able to just play with drums and changing the keys, so i'm looking for another Gdec 30 and getting rid of the new one

I love to jam...this doewn't really sound like SRV,but I had to put something to showcase this tone I made...I have long since got rid of this amp.....
