that platoon commander was a complete ass..he did not even listen...he was right...he probably was in genuine pain due to the fact that its probably the first time hes used his muscles in a long time..but good platoon commander would try and inspire and motivate the private soldier to push past the pain and get the best out of him ratehr than jsut calling him a "liar"..reminds me of how soldiers in ww1 were just shot from cowardice when they had a genuine mental disosder "SHELLLSHOCK".
