A LITTLE BACKGROUND FOR THIS SONG:

One of Frank's many appearances on American television. He performs "From Out Of Nowhere" and "She Taught Me How To Yodel". As usual he is performing to a full house. "She Taught Me How To Yodel" was one of the songs Frank did during a Royal performance. He was asked to perform for the Queen and her family and he was reported to be the Queen Mum's most favorite singer. Frank learned that the Queen Mum was very anxious to hear him yodel. He had not planned any specific yodeling number at the time but, after he heard about the Queen Mum's wishes, he selected this one especially for her. She was delighted.

  • he is still the Master with the Golden Voice.

Thanks for you comments. So may people share your view. Many are of age to have been fans of Frank back in the 1960's and later. But, I am hearing from a large number of new fans who are too young to have been fans back in the 1960s through the 1980's. They are hearing his songs for the first time and are struck by how fantastic a singer Frank was. They say they love his music. Again, thanks for posting your kind words. Bud

  • Looking and listening to Frank sing gives me that feel good factor .!!!!!

  • Like one of your best tunes, I remember you, Frank. I just didn't know you were this good!

  • Frank was awesome. All the old guys make the kids today sound like braying asses.

  • @gezzamatey In terms of class of voice, he is probably THE Best voice Anywhere on record ... except maybe, PavarottiLOL!

  • The music "experts" tried to tell Frank Ifield that yodeling was "verbotten". After all, how could someone be a popular singer and a yodeler? Frank showed them better.

Elvis and the Beatles would not be considered "relevant" by today's standards. After all, who would want to watch some guy with weird hair and a sneer gyrating all over the stage, or see four British guys with mop heads sing strange harmonies and performing to odd rhythyms. That just does not cut it.
