Kevin rose shows in "Screen Savers", how to build a simple switch for changing and a Hard Disk (HDD) from master to slave using the Cable Select capabilitie of HDDs and of course a simple on-off switch, wich help us changing the geek way from master to slave and viceversa too diferents Hard Disks (HDD), its simply but far superior solution and of course no more bootmanager like lilo, grub, etc..

  • Nice, but you got lucky. You should have used a double pole, double throw switch to avoid any direct electrical connection between the drives. DPDT

  • Grub is much simpler

  • Dual booting 2 Windows OS's is easy, but since he is booting Windows and Linux, he has to do this or get a boot manager.

  • Why not just use a boot manager?
