I really enjoyed it. Hindemith is a composer we don't hear enough of in England - I love his "Mathis der Maler" Symphony.

Thank you, Christo. Music for the 21st century, albeit composed in the 20th. Good music. Like the rhythm.

This has to be my favorite of your compositions so far. It reminds me of early Schoenberg and the Passacaglia in Britten's "Death in Venice".

Hi Austen,
Yes, I had actually forgotten about the Schoenberg connection. Webern's first piece- Opus 1- was a Passacaglia for orchestra. Then there is the "Klangfarben" setting of my theme.
But the kind "neurotic" part that really reminds me of Schoenberg is at 6:14 and esp. 6:33. It just came out that way. The harmonic ideas are closer to Hindemith!

Wow... I had know idea you composed~
I played the French horn for years, along with piano
and such... nothing other than typical.
This was incredible.

Wonderful, Christo, both aurally and visually. Love the Modernistic approach to the composition. Emotion fueled melodies and phrasing. Bravo!
