@DeadlyAntenna (sidenote) there are many great things about Japan you could have used as better examples - the culture, the tradition, the history, the architecture, the food, the landscape, etc etc etc.

@gregarian19 To be fair, you can't judge a country based on how SOME of said country's citizens treat other people. Not every Japanese person is as you've described, in fact many have been known to discriminate against those who aren't Japanese/Asian, especially against white people. I've met some perfectly pleasant Americans and some downright rude Japanese, and vice versa. Also, with that last sentence you're pretty much assuming everyone who says something negative on here is American.
